I'm a video-game designer turned permaculturalist. I've worked in the video-games industry for nearly a decade, where I've created online worlds and written ridiculous storylines. In 2009 I left the industry to go back to school to study Restoration Horticulture and take a PDC course offered by Toby Hemenway.
Permaculture appealed to the designer in me. It's a methodology that makes sense and allows me to take my background of creating and tweaking abstract digital worlds and apply that to living systems. It's focus on both people and earth care resonated with me.
My passions are for efficient living, water/energy management, agroecological systems, and being an advocate for smarter living. I run a facebook page and, soon, a blog where I post information regarding food security, environmental policy, ecological restoration, and permaculture to a steady expanding audience.
