My background, as a youth I enjoyed perpetually being outdoors and many a thousand hours spent fishing, after high school I started Quality work for the Aluminum extrusion business, doing Tensile testing precision measuring which I currently still do. Pre permaculture I've always be against wasting anything and breaking things down to main parts and reusing them whenever possible I've been called ultra pragmatic,
Food quality and nutrient density small scale intensive gardening, was the initial draw into Permaculture, then the more I read the hungrier I got the more I watched the more I needed to see and then I did the Geoff Lawton online course and my life has permanently changed to that of a Permaculturalist it was a perfect storm for me as permaculture entered my life I could not and can not get enough.
My wife and I are in a suburban house and have relatively big raised bed polyculture gardens we have an area dedicated to being wild with lots of flowers and plants selected to be beneficial for insects, pollinators and birds we harvest all/most rain water and we love it. Our goal is a larger Property5-20acres 2-8hectares in the next few years where we can apply permaculture techniques.
