Gary Donaldson is an Australian urban farmer living on Macleay Island in Queensland's Moreton Bay. He is the author of the Urban Aquaponics Manual and of Microponics - the integration of fish, plants and micro=livestock.

While his association with Permaculture has spanned 30 years, he finally undertook his PDC in early 2015.

Gary has collaborated with Dr Mark McMurtry (inventor of the first closed loop aquaponics system) to produce www.iavs.info and with Dr Paul Olivier to translate his natural farming strategies into an Australian context.
