I first became aware of Permaculture when a friend showed the video "Greening the Desert". I was totally blown away with the simplicity but incredible effectiveness of this amazing system. From then on I began to take short courses in food gardening using permaculture principals.

It became my goal to complete a PDC but with a large family, it just wasn't possible for me to leave the family to do an on-site course. So when I heard about Geoff Lawton's on-line PDC I jumped at it.

It is my hope that I can use this knowledge for my own family's benefit as well as helping friends wherever possible with their own project designs.
