I was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, in a normal family. I spent my childhood with my friends in our neighbourhood and in the nearby forest.
At 17, after reading cospiracy theories & co, I realized giving so much energy to this negative aspects of our world wouldn't benefit no one. The first impuls was toward sustainable living, and running somewhere remote, to live off-grid. So I started to gather information and to read books. Meanwhile I began composting my food scraps and growing some vegetables in my little shady garden.
Now I am 19, I know about permaculture for a year. I took an introduction course in february and a 100 h PDC in may 2015. My view of the situation changed, now I think there is a lot of work in the city and this is the place where you can reach many people and where changes can happen quickly.
I am involved in transition towns movement, hardworking with a lovely team in a school yard garden project. We plan to have weekly lessons for children on permaculture, sustainablity, localization of resources, etc.
