I am a biodynamic farmer.
Me and my family try to keep as many old and rare species as somehow possible.
We own 14,2 ha grasland with around 120 high trunk fruitetrees.
What Rudolf Steiner said in his course back 1924, is in quite many manners similar to what permaculture actually is. I have seen Geoff Lawton's "greening the dessert" project videos and was realy impressed, i also saw Bill Mollison's video " in grave danger of falling food", so i wanted to learn more about permaculture. I read all books from Sepp Holzer, Masanobu Fukuoka and got myself "permaculture: a designer manuel". After years of researching youtube and the internet in generall, i decided to take the online PDC course with Geoff Lawton, which was in deed a great piece of advice to get things started.
Currantly i am designing and remodeling my own farm towards a more efficient and sustainable way. I am also involved in a local food community where we try to establish a socialsystem which in africa is called "ubuntu". a community where everyone is working for the wellbeing of the whole community. " if something is not good for everyone, it can't be good for someone."
