I am a veterinarian by training and has master and Ph.D degrees in Fish Nutrition. Beside my academic education in Egypt and Norway, I have done business and management education in Canada and England.

I have 25 years’ experience in fish nutrition research. I have been working in both academic and industrial environments in Egypt, Canada and Norway. For the last twelve years I have been been working for EWOS Innovation as a senior scientist then as Manager Director. EWOS Innovation is the R&D body for EWOS; an international fish feed company operating in Norway, Canada, UK, Chile and recently in Vietnam.

I am also Adjunct Professor at Animal and Plant science at Dal Housie Agricultural College in Nova Scotia, Canada since 2000 and holds a black belt of six sigma since 2006.
