I was born in Belgium in 1982. I used to live in Brussels with my boyfriend as an interior design , him being an architect. In 2013 my brother in law bought a game farm in the Free State, South africa.

We came up with the idea of transforming it into a permaculture farm... We arrived there in july 2014, started with a 600sqm vegetable garden (the farm is 240ha) and started building a house with stones wood and soil all from the property.

The house is now really finished, we're about to start building another one on the property, planning to make the vegetable bigger, building swales and dams on the property to keep the water as it is very dry but we have quite big rains in summer. We've started breeding goats for manure and keeping the property clean from invasive bushes, we also have chickens and horses. As wild game we have nyalas, blesbocks, zebras and a giraffe. We do no hunting on the farm, the wild is there for the feeling of freedom :-). We're about to start with bee hives aswell.
