Hi. I took a permaculture back in 2001 and was living on permaculture farms in Maui and than a small island off of the coast of Panama called Basitimentos. I lived and worked with an amazing man named Bruce Hill. He had implemented a Chinampa system of agriculture on the front of the land - as it neared the coast. I than lived in Oregon, NY, an FL at a meditation center for 15 months... working in the gardens and orchards there. Presently I came forward to my hometown of Jacksonville... sigh... to instigate some education and awareness by making a permaculture suburban model... and starting a permaculture meetup group. Both are going well enough... .. I sighed earlier because change can be slow. and the land under this capitalist cultural myth is soo darn beautiful.
