i am a retired broadcast journalist. i am now a involved in an organization whose advocacy is community development thru trainings in Solid waste management and organic fertilizer production.

we also have our own farm surrounded b a fishpond , about 75-100 meters away from the shoreline. we have been trying to develop the soil in our farm. our main produce are coconuts from the farm. milkfish and mudcrabs from the fishpond. we call our place PEACE POND.

slowly, we are transforming this place into a demo farm for organic, natural farming and permaculture way of farming. we do not use machines in our farm to lessen the carbon foot print. we're hoping that this site can give us the necessary knowhow in improving our farm. by the way, our farm is managed by volunteer farmers living as "informal settlers" around the farm.
