I grew up on my Grandfather's farm in central Nebraska USA .Dropped out of school and joined the US Navy ,spent 12 years there developed the multi purpose survival vest ,still used today .After Navy I did mobile home repair and rental's for 40 years and counting .I spent the last 10 years cleaning my 74 acre sandpit and lake property ,bought a 20 acre farmstead to work on and just by chance ran across Geoff Lawton's web site . He is doing beautiful thing in the world and I will be a part of it . My farmstead has rolling hill's lots of cedar trees 7 terraces a small pond and building plus creek good bottom land window mill and water at 20 feet . I have started to clear some of the cedar and trash tree ,all the terraces have 50 year old cedar trees in them . My intention is to turn it into a permaculture farm and training site before I die ,so I will need a lot of Help in designing and lay out . I will grow as fast as a old man can, but I fell young . Let's get started I'm open to suggestions .
