I grew up in a rural village and the second half of my life I spend studying and working in cities. So I see both main branches of permaculture (rural and urban) useful and necessary.
A few years ago I encountered the concept of permaculture and it completely fitted with and largely broadened my experience and dreams. After years of studying books and web and experimenting outdoors I took a wonderful online PDC this summer (2014) with Geoff Lawton.
Working as an archaeologist at the university I'm trying to devote my free time to improve our small village garden and to establish a small urban garden. All along with permaculture;)
