Kate is a Permaculture Designer, Horticulturist and Landscape architect. Working in Landscape Architecture since graduating from University Kate has always understood the importance of landscape in creating and maintaining social harmony, better living spaces and environmental stability.
Passionate about creating beautiful and productive spaces as well as a connected society, Kate came to Permaculture by way of gardening and a belief that there must be a way to tie all her interests together. Geoff Lawton's course offered a new layer of thinking and practice while embracing the all-important ethics that can be lacking in conventional horticulture and food production.
From here Kate hopes to keep connecting with fellow Permies, develop a sustainable and productive food garden and bring the joy, skills and ethics of permaculture to others.
