I'm a software architect by trade, born and raised in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. I've had an interest in gardening and naturalization for years (Sarah Stein's book, Noah's Garden, was an early influence).
I caught the permaculture bug from Paul Wheaton back in 2011 when I stumbled upon his Organic Lawn Care For The Cheap And Lazy article at richsoil.com, which led me to the forum at permies.com. I completed Geoff Lawton's online PDC in 2014.
As a city boy, my current activities are primarily centred on developing my urban homefront and I'm particularly interested in the development of urban permaculture, working with communities in Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area and seeking opportunities to engage in hands-on workshops and projects to expand my skills and vision.
