Growing up I always had a interest in Biology. My family retired on a small farm in Wisconsin. There I took part in groups like 4-H, boy scouts and the colley regional herbal institute. In 2007 I graduated high school and started college in the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. There I majored in biology. During these days I studied abroad on three separate occasions; One in Japan where I taught English for three months and two trips to China where I learned how to read, write and speak mandarin Chinese. I graduated from university in 2011. But before leaving Wisconsin I got my PDC in Madison, WI on August 2011.
In 2012 I joined the Peace Corps. I was sent as a environmental extension volunteer where I worked under the Zambian Department of Forestry. For two years I have worked with local Zambian farmers in projects in improved gardening, conservation farming, bee husbandry and agroforestry.
In 2014 completed a Permaculture Teacher Training in Stelle, IL and am now currently serving one more year in Zambia as a Peace Corps Volunteer Leader.
