1.I was born in Mongolia, 1957. Have a bachelor degree in international relations. Have some experience in working both the government and international organizations, as well as NGO and private sectors. Lived a few years in Sweden until 2004.
2.Since I came back to Mongolia in 2004 I started to create a garden in suburban area near Ulaanbaatar city at a small private yard. At that time I didn't know that what I was doing at my garden was very similar to permaculture ethics and principles.
Mongolia has an arid cold and semi arid climate. In fact we have only 3 month in a year /June,July and August/ suitable for planting and gardening. We have a very long, windy, dusty, dry and chilly spring.
3. In 2014, occasionally, I found in internet a lot of materials about permaculture. More I read about it I found more similar things with my job. I realized that my personal approach suits permaculture approach.
Now I have more than 300 different types of trees, bushes at my garden, ponds, vegetables. Keep turkey, chicken, ducks, rabbits, pigeons and some other birds. Keep bees and earthworms. I am reading a lot about permaculture, now I have on-line permaculture course.
