Hi, I moved to Alaska eight years ago. Bought some land and wanted to become more independant. I think in the near future there will be a crisis where our current lifestyle won't be able to be lived anymore.

While looking into gardening I stumbled across permaculture. Investigated it some more, read a couple books about it and really want to follow that approach in my methods.

Where I live has poor rock and clay soil. As I go to build on my land I hope to improve the soil and make it better for all.
