I have worked as a Surveyor, Cartographer, Electrical System Designer, Electrical System Tech Officer, Design Support Officer, Software Implementation Project, Business Analyst, GIS consultant, GIS Trainer, Written a GIS user guide, Written GIS training material.
I have a Bach of Tech (Surveying), Associate Degree (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), and most recently a PDC from Milkwood Permaculture (Yay!!).
My father did a permaculture course in the early 80's and the gardens at our family homes have always been designed using permaculture principles.
I originally studied Surveying as it allowed a balance between office and field work, the work was quite challenging but the results where very negative on the environment etc. which led me to change my profession. Permaculture has allowed me to come full circle and caters to my original intent but with the results of my energy having a positive impact. I hope to share the skills I have learned with the permaculture community.
My present permaculture activity is to travel, observe and learn. My horticulture skills need improving so this is my immediate goal.
