(projects i'm involved in)
Driven to create a world based on the three permaculture ethics. I've been running the local permaculture meetup group for 3 years now. We've created over 20,000 square feet of garden space for individuals at their homes. We've installed cob ovens, rain catchment, chicken coops, fruit tree guilds, swales, Sun traps, Chinampas, water features, etc. I've run hundreds of workshops all over the south east of the United States.
We are moving up to larger projects and have now successfully taught a PDC. 10 local members are now certified Permaculturalists. I've personally taken two official PDCs and several online PDCs. I have done a design for a 12 acre food forest project. Looking to do more!
Working with animals and bees now. Using permaculture techniques with Care of the earth (wild animals), care of the people (domesticated animals) and a return of surplus (helping others and nurturing the soil as a number one priority).
