Ananda Aiken MultiEspacio PermaCultural

Project Type

Urban, Residential, Commercial, Community, Demonstration, Educational

Project Summary

Small Sub-Urban lot dedicated to the development and implementation of permaculture ethics and principles applied as holistic tools to create different ways to relate with each other and the environment

Project Description

Ananda Aiken it's a family project with the intention to be a demostrative and educational space where people can get together and see that there's another way to relate with each other, as well as with the environment, empowering everyone and inviting us to share what we have and what we are for the beneffit of the entire community, puting our gifts to the service, and finding ways to co-create the solutions we feel are needed in order to make a transition to a sustainable way of life.

Located on the outskirts of Bahia Blanca, more precisely Grumbein, covering 400sq mts in surface. An empty lot that's ready and willing to be transformed into another spot of this global permaculture and transition net we're building everyday.

Actually it has a structure holding a roof, waiting to be completed following bioclimatic techniques and natural building. Considering the total area of the lot, it's an invitation to put many of the permaculture principles into action, specially stacking functions and using the vertical surface that will grow as time goes by.

The project looks forward to be the place where gatherings around the topics of cooperativism, conscious consuming, alternative economies, alternative education, earth care techniques, cosmic event celebrations, natural and conscious nutrition, yoga, meditation, people care related practices, wisdom sharing, and many more things that will for sure grow at the same time as the place.

The doors are about to open my friends, keep in touch to see how this lovely and nice dreams continues to grow and make real.

Welcome on board!

Legend of Badges

Note: The various badges displayed in people profiles are largely honesty-based self-proclamations by the individuals themselves. There are reporting functions users can use if they know of blatant misrepresentation (for both people and projects). Legitimacy, competency and reputation for all people and projects can be evidenced and/or developed through their providing regular updates on permaculture work they’re involved in, before/after photographs, etc. A spirit of objective nurturing of both people and projects through knowledge/encouragement/inspiration/resource sharing is the aim of the Worldwide Permaculture Network.

PRI Teacher

With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable.

PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.
