Project: Forêt Nourricières - Ville Elne

We designed the project completely remotely, taking accurate satellite images in real time. We have generated the urban plan and the complete 3d modelling, and we have taken RENDER images for a better understanding of how the forest project will look like in a few years, and in the meantime the process of terreformation that the site will undergo, the population balance of the rhizosphere, and the possible trophic relationships.

The planting event was carried out by the school children and by a volunteer group that received agro-ecosystem training from Alexandre Pereira Alvarez.

Anna Maria : This is an interesting rice purity test project! It's impressive how they were able to design everything remotely and generate accurate images using satellite technology. It's also great to see school children and volunteers involved in the planting event. Overall, it seems like a well-planned and executed project.

Coby Brian
Coby Brian : The integration of real-time satellite images and precise 3D modeling for remote project design is commendable. The rendered images not only offer a glimpse into the future appearance of the forest project but also depict the ongoing process of terreformation and ecosystem dynamics. Involving school children and volunteers trained in agro-ecosystem management adds a valuable educational and community-building dimension to the project. Kudos to Alexandre Pereira Alvarez for contributing expertise to the endeavor.

Legend of Badges

Note: The various badges displayed in people profiles are largely honesty-based self-proclamations by the individuals themselves. There are reporting functions users can use if they know of blatant misrepresentation (for both people and projects). Legitimacy, competency and reputation for all people and projects can be evidenced and/or developed through their providing regular updates on permaculture work they’re involved in, before/after photographs, etc. A spirit of objective nurturing of both people and projects through knowledge/encouragement/inspiration/resource sharing is the aim of the Worldwide Permaculture Network.

PRI Teacher

With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable.

PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.

pri_teacher
