Grayson LandCare and Church of the Good Shepherd have partnered to build a community garden and food forest, offering a PDC to volunteers in exchange for volunteer hours to help create and maintain the garden.
The PDC was held over 12 months and included over 72 hours of course work in addition to group design time/self-study time/hands-on projects/visits to demonstration sites/and other learning activities.
Graduates agreed to provide 20 hours of volunteer labor in 2019 to continue work on the COGS Permaculture Garden.
