Hello everyone,

I hope you are well.

I am a young French graduate, aspiring to take an active part in the environmental movement in an original and meaningful way, by documenting and sharing existing projects, worldwide but starting in South America. The idea would be to create a body of short documentaries/videos that could be used as an educational resource, a 'toolbox', for those feeling concerned about climate change and looking for a way to take action. I would like to inspire others to do have the courage to start their own projects, wherever they may be. The aim is to participate in fostering the global environmental movement. 

I am extremely passionate about my project, which I am undertaking after graduating from a Master's degree in Corporate Social Responsibility and working for two years in a CSR department in Paris. I’m targeting permacultural projects because I’m passionate about it and love the innovative nature of many of them. I truly believe permaculture is one of the keys to tackle climate change. I want to understand, discover and learn from a project like this, and present in detail the processes people went through to be where they are now.

This is just the beginning for me of a long and impactful journey. I aim to leave France by mid-February to start filming my first initiative, and I would be very grateful if you could allow me to travel to you and work with you around this time. I would also be happy to volunteer in the project I’ll join. I am a very diligent, conscientious and helpful person. There is no task too big or too small for me. Apart from the volunteering period, it will take me about a week to get all the videos and interview I need before starting the video editing.

In terms of getting this information out there, there currently exists a group of French individuals making videos with social and environmental themes, who recently managed to create a petition, called 'l'affaire du siècle' signed by 2 million individuals in less than a week (https://laffairedusiecle.net/). This shows that the demand and interest are incredibly high, and I will work tirelessly for my videos about initiatives such as yours to reach a wide audience internationally.
