About a year ago we transitioned from urban Atlanta to rural South Missouri near Springfield in the Ozarks.
We currently have 40 acres of primarily flat pasture with around ten of that wooded.
In March we installed 1000 feet of swales in a 2 acre paddock on the site. We have been documenting that evolution here: Swales
