(projects i'm involved in)

We now have an established framework for the productive garden integrated with native habitat. I have been working this year on layering and in fil for insect and pollinator attraction. Unfortunately we can't have bee hives here in the city I live in due to council bylaws.
I have re-jigged my zone 1 areas using a previously grassed terrace from the north deck. I am using our horse manure (our horses agist elsewhere) and straw with some innoculant solutions. One year in and the soil is improving and has some life.
We build a structure over the orchard and chooks with a green house complex. While still a little high maintenance the area works well for small holding of 3 chooks and 2 ducks.
I am using the Jeavons intensive method on the terrace for more annual production while I have more time working from home.
I am using cropping beds to grow more clucker tucker myself and larger green manure/mulch experiments. However the kangaroos also love to eat it and they are thriving too.
