planted plums, apples, cherries, hazelnut, pecan, thornless honeylocust, persimmon, pawpaws, mulberry and smallis (hopefully) chestnuts on myproperty along with autumnberries, blackberries and strawberries . Still just early days.
Trying to get under the trees and the garden area mulched with (free) woodchips. Slowly making headway.
Currently have two goats, some chickens and ducks. The goats and chickens are heading for the meat locker soon. The ducks are reproducing and laying well. Picking up a captured swarm of bees from a friend tomorrow. (I've had bees before, but after a few years they left).
Will be adding two more small ponds and swales this winter or next spring, at the same time I will be digging out a root cellar on the north side of the house (while I have the backhoe rented).
It looks a little rough right now, but in two years it will be beautiful and start to be productive.
