My wife and I are in the process of buying about 2 acres of land in the center of South Korea. We are not ready to move there yet, but we can begin to develop our plan as we save money toward the goal of relocating there.

The land is in a prime fruit growing region in the middle of the country, near a large river, and looks to have good potential for water storage at elevation. There are a lot of possibilities and it is exciting and also daunting to consider them all! I look forward to the challenge of putting the permaculture principles I have learned into practice.

Another thing we would like to do at some point is to travel with the goal of getting some hands-on internship experience or something along those lines. So far my experience is limited to the online PDC, studying online, and a few experiments growing plants in an urban setting. The experience gleaned from working at a permaculture site that is established or being set up by experienced practitioners would be very helpful when we are ready to develop our own property.
