The first Millenium goal when we reach 2015 was to eradicate extra poverty and hunger.
African families live poor lifes with no expectation of better life. Are we stagnant to think of how to overcome our problem by taking actions? How about the climate, geographical location does it hinder development?
The answer for those questions can be found on nature because when used properly would support human‘s life.85 percent of Tanzanian depends on land for living but poverty, hunger and mulnutrions is the serious problem to many families.
I may adress that, the suffering is the result on failure to use the land properly, not able to make cash out of nature for other necessity. I cant blame any one on that because farmers are not directed on the best way to produce rather on the short term means to apply on land for short term profit then kill their land forever. The government and other stakeholders insisting on the use of chemicals, pestcides, fungicides to the farms to rise production. The quality of soil go down hence lost of biodiversty which leads to poor soil for plant growth.
Farmers needs to be equiped with permaculture skills to rebuild the soil, how to use small land they have with little capital to feed their family and creat cash.
In this way, we will be able to improve our well being!
