The week after creating the first no-dig garden bed, we built another just below it on the gentle south facing grade. ot many people from the publis joined us but that's ok - we shall organize something again later in the summer, perhaps a harvest event. The garden is looking really healthy and we have established a nice relationship with the city workers who have been filling up our "rain" barrel for us, to simulate the rain harvesting model we tried to set up. (Permission was not granted by the neighboring condo association. It is our intention to try again next year.)
