Tried to dig by hand, but that way way more than this old man could do, so we hired an excavator and they were dug in about three hours. In one afternoon we filled them with logs and fallen trees, There are bags of mulch leave gathered from around the neighborhood ready to place and will soon be returning the soil to it mounds.
