Ok, I finally set up the stovetek rocket stove in an outdoor kitchen situation. It is much more stable than I thought it would be, I should have done it way sooner. The black grannyware canning pot, while wider than the stove, is fine on it full of water. No stability issues at all ! Water heated up much faster than I would have thought, for such a large pot, absolutely full. And, I just scrounged whatever I grabbed off the ground to burn, some just plant stems. I was not trying to get a rolling boil, and didnt, so I cant say how hard that would be. But, if I was feeding madrone sticks or such and paying more attention, maybe. My grannyware pot is pretty shot, so I have already ordered a steam canner. I have been using a steam canner a few times at a friends outdoor canning kitchen ( a used glass top patio table, a short two burner propane on the ground -- just on their driveway in front of their house. They fire it up 3 or 4 days a week as things start to come ripe). The steam canner on the rocket stove will be as good as their set up, wont take as much to boil. I set up because I thought I was going to process chickens. The set up was alright. But, I couldnt do it. No chickens died here yesterday. This is why I am vegetarian. They will go to my neighbor.

Debra Baker : Got a friend over yesterday and we managed to humanely dispatch one of the young cockerels. ROcket stove kept the water at a good temp for loosening up those fethers, all went very well, no problems, she took the chicken home to make soup.

	PDC People who claim to have taken a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course somewhere in the world.
	PDC Verified People who have entered an email address for the teacher of their PDC course, and have had their PDC status verified by that teacher. Watch their updates for evaluation.
	PRI PDC People who’ve taken a Permaculture Research Institute PDC somewhere in the world.
	PDC Teacher People who claim to teach some version of PDC somewhere in the world.
	PRI Teacher With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable. PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.
	Aid Worker The individual with this badge is indicating they are, have, or would like to be involved in permaculture aid work. As such, the individual may or may not have permaculture aid worker experience. Watch their updates for evaluation.
	Consultant The individual with this badge is indicating they are, have, or would like to do paid permaculture design consultancy work. As such, the individual may or may not have permaculture consultancy experience. Watch their updates for evaluation.
	Community Project Community projects are projects that help develop sustainable community interaction and increase localised resiliency.
