Joel Salatin takes a very serious approach to farming, so serious in fact, that it's FUN! He knows that Permaculture principles must be applied and he has come up with his own great ideas that help keep the whole thing running even More Effectively. And on top of that he's really making money. He keep emphasizing the need to be mobile, Mobile chickens, hogs...Multi functional Structures, Methods for Raising Happy & Healthy Animals, Grass Productivity with the goal in mind of 'locking the carbon' back in the ground, and of course, Composting - with Animals, ...Let them do the work simply because they LOVE it! And I'm loving this course and my reading list for the winter just got more interesting as Joel is mentioning great influential authors that helped him change the ways of farming forever. I really hope other farmers catch up with him and the only thing holding them back, ...is themselves.
