After observation over a few years now, and failaure of many trees to grow, I realised that the soil needs improvement.

I have a huge amount of leaves and organick matter delivered regularly. Some get put in compost but the majority is used as mulch. After putting it down it is wet ( to speed things up) but rain is best. I have noticed that moisture remains at the surface even 3months after the last rain.

There is much hope that next spring , a lot of trees can be put in.

Avocado, Macadamia, Pomegranate, Lemon, Old Man Saltbush, Roselle, Moringa, Mulberry, Fig, Wild Cherry, Red Ivory, Banana, Papaya.

Hardy Herbs such as Rosemary and lavender amongst the trees.
