Project: Gokiro
Posted by Régis Grosset almost 12 years ago

To arise, complete an important cycle, learning to fly by jumping out of the nest, Gokiro must begin the construction of a Multi-Functional Interface Standing at the heart of our horticultural activity from spring to ...
... accommodate people who want to learn or teach.
... put into practice the knowledge and aquises and enforce a green lifestyle.
... meet the challenges of self-construction, promoting local natural materials and passive energy, with a minimum of money.
... have space for the storage of fruit and vegetables, for processing and a seed bank.
... to engage socially Gokiro in our region so direct,
by opening up the company with consulting services, demonstration, teaching and healing.
Gokiro therefore seeks cooperation ...
... Municipality of Saint-Marcelin.
... volunteers eager to learn, or simply want help in solidarity with our cause.
... actor in the field of green building or renewable energy
who would like to take our work to provide training.
... consulting traditional Aboriginal willing to work with us.
... contributors, and generous donors.
Our possible main sources of funding are ..
Conferences work and advice.
...Voluntary contributions, fundraising, "crowdfunding" or participatory financing.
...income after the creation of craft work.
...income after the completion of works of art.
...Contributions our horticultural work.
...Voluntary contributions at public events.
The planet Earth is currently the only oasis of life as we know, in an immense starry desert.
Take care, respect their physical and biological diversity, its resources sparingly,
bring peace and solidarity among humans, in respect of all forms of life,
are the most realistic project, the most beautiful to ever done.

Note: The various badges displayed in people profiles are largely honesty-based self-proclamations by the individuals themselves. There are reporting functions users can use if they know of blatant misrepresentation (for both people and projects). Legitimacy, competency and reputation for all people and projects can be evidenced and/or developed through their providing regular updates on permaculture work they’re involved in, before/after photographs, etc. A spirit of objective nurturing of both people and projects through knowledge/encouragement/inspiration/resource sharing is the aim of the Worldwide Permaculture Network.
MemberA member is a permaculturist who has never taken a PDC course. These cannot become PDC teachers. Members may be novice or highly experienced permaculturists or anywhere in between. Watch their updates for evaluation. |

|
PRI TeacherWith the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable. PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows. |
